Pink October – Alké launches a call for candidates for women’s football clubs

For the second year, Alké, the clothing brand dedicated solely to footballers, will propose an action on the occasion of Pink October: create special editions of jerseys for its partner clubs, part of the sales profits of which will go to research against breast cancer.

A brand that has been committed since its inception, Alké has always given itself the mission of supporting the practice of women’s football around the world and acting in favor of the emancipation of women. Thus in 2019, the brand is requested by the Breton club of the United Youth of Plougouven for a project on the occasion of Pink October – the operation which works every year to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

Alké’s commitment to Pink October

The objective of this partnership? That the brand Alké created a special jersey for the female team of the JUP, which the players could wear during the whole month of October and which would also be sold by the club. Part of the profits from sales is directly donated to breast cancer research. And the operation is a success since almost 1,500 € could be collected.

A call for candidates for women’s football clubs

Buoyed by this success, Alké chose this year to collaborate with other clubs: “We had the idea this year to extend the operation to other clubs to have a greater impact for this operation” . And indeed, the more participating clubs there are, the more visible the awareness campaign for the fight against breast cancer will be and the amount raised for research will be important.

The brand is therefore launching a large call for applications to all women’s football clubs so that they can work together to design a co-branded jersey which will be worn by the club’s players in October and sold in stadiums. partner teams and on the Alké site so that as many people as possible can access it.

For clubs wishing to show their commitment and participate in the fight against breast cancer thanks to this operation, nothing could be simpler, just contact the Alké team at the following address before the end of July: info@alkesoccer.com

Who is Alké?

Created in 2019 by Claire Allard, Laura Marcora and Barbara Blanchard, the brand Alké was born from the desire of the three creators to enhance the image of women through sport. From the world of fashion and sport, they decide to found a brand only for women, in a sport where clothing products are designed mainly for men.

More than a simple fashion brand, Alké is a social project since part of its turnover is dedicated to supporting actions in favor of the development of women’s football and the emancipation of women around the world.
