Is your Android device buggy? Here are some solutions

A smartphone is, in the end, a mini-computer, and it therefore experiences the same problems: freeze, bug, blockages … Except that on the computer, when everything is blocked, you can always try to type ALT + CTRL + DELETE, to bring up the task manager on Windows, force a task to stop or restart the computer. Such a trick does not exist for Android, however different means approach it. If you want to “defrost” your Android device: these are our solutions.

Force stop an application

In most cases, the block comes from a particular application. The quickest solution when you are using an application and it “freezes”, is to press the Home button which will return you to your home screen. But the application will still be running in the background. You have to go to the root to close it completely.

To do this, go to your Settings> Application manager (or Applications ). You will find there all the applications you have installed, and a tab allows you to see the current applications. Find the rebellious app, then click ” Force Stop “.

Restart the smartphone

Sometimes your phone bugs so much that you can’t even access your settings. One of the simplest methods in this case is to simply restart the terminal. If your smartphone still reacts to the physical buttons, try pressing the sleep button for a few seconds. You can choose to restart from the menu that appears.

Force restart

The menu described above does not respond either? A slightly more drastic measure exists: force the restart. Press the standby button again, this time for several seconds. A message is displayed: keep the button pressed until the screen goes completely black. The operations can change depending on your phone.

Another solution, perhaps more radical, is to remove the battery (if the latter is removable). Then wait a few seconds before replacing it and restarting your device.

Factory reset

Finally, the final solution, which must really be taken as the last solution: reset the device to factory settings (Hard Reset). This will delete all of your data. You can do this from the settings (Backup and restore), or when the device restarts, by pressing the volume up, home and power button simultaneously. A menu appears, you can move with your volume buttons. Choose “Wipe Date / Factory Reset”.
